We are looking for a Project Manager, the ideal candidate will be the one capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a pro-active style communicating across departments. The successful professional will join our engineering group, working closely with our VP of Engineering, electrical, mechanical, test, integration, and quality teams to ensure designs are delivered to customer requirements.


Loop’s nature as a rapidly growing green-energy company will also require the successful candidate to demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit to help foster a dynamic and innovative work environment.


The successful candidate will



  • Plan, set, and control product development project schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables
  • Formulate and execute highly technical program/project plans in a collaborative matrix environment
  • Lead the cross-functional project team, coordinate tasks, and lead regular project meetings
  • Support cross-functional teams and participate in the ‘collective’ to achieve project goals
  • Coordinate project milestone reviews including product design reviews and releases.
  • Drive to resolve issues; escalate and develop action plans to proactively avoid delays and overages
  • Monitor and control project progress; provide regular internal and external reports on the project status.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders including cross-functional department leads on project/program status
  • Provide input and feedback on departmental and organizational improvements to achieve greater development and implementation efficiencies (continuous improvement)


Position Requirements:


  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with PMP certification
  • 5+ years of related experience in managing product development and commercialization projects
  • Permitted to work in Canada
  • International travel required, approximately to 6 weeks per year


Considered an asset:


  • Automotive experience
  • Experience with CE and regulatory compliance
  • Fluency in Mandarin
