Position Responsibilities:


  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Produce internal financial reports, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and financial budgets and pro-formas
  • Comprehensive knowledge of full-cycle accounting (International accounting, consolidated accounting, and multi-currency experience);
  • Prepare reports that predict the financial performance of a company over time;
  • Submit paperwork for federal and state regulatory agencies. Knowledgeable of revenue and regulations requirements from Canada and USA.
  • Planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems;
  • Collaborate with the executive team to support efficient and effective operation;
  • Working closing with the CFO, core responsibilities include audit preparation, inventory management, month/year-end financial reporting, management of the finance team, and process improvements;
  • Support other finance activities including investor documentation and corporate governance matters
  • Submit required compliance items for federal and state regulatory agencies; knowledge of regulations and requirements in Canada, China and the United States
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.

· Chartered Professional Accountant in good standing 

· Progressive accounting experience and previous supervisory experience.

Other key Assets:

· Chinese written and spoken language skills

· Public company experience

· Supply chain and inventory

· Automotive experience
